W grudniu 2019 Fédération internationale des associations d’études classiques podjęła decyzję o powierzeniu Polskiemu Towarzystwu Filologicznemu organizacji siedemnastej edycji FIEC International Congress w Polsce.
Kongres odbędzie się w lipcu 2025 roku na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim i zgromadzi ok. 1000 przedstawicieli nauk o starożytności z całego świata. Informacje dotyczące przygotowań do tego ważnego wydarzenia można znaleźć na oficjalnej stronie: fiec2025.ptf.edu.pl.
Zjazdy FIEC odbywają się od 1950 roku i są wielkim świętem filologii klasycznej, historii starożytnej, archeologii i innych nauk zajmujących się starożytnością.

In December 2019, Fédération internationale des associations d’études classiques made the decision to entrust the organization of the 17th edition of the FIEC International Congress in Poland to the Polish Philological Association.
The congress will take place in July 2025 at the University of Wrocław and will gather approximately 1000 representatives of ancient studies from all over the world. Information about the preparations for this important event can be found on the official website: fiec2025.ptf.edu.pl.
FIEC congresses have been held since 1950 and are a great celebration of classical philology, ancient history, archaeology, and other sciences dealing with antiquity.
